NEW GIG ANNOUNCED Scroll down below to catch up the latest gig we have booked. -------------------------------------------------------- Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made our recent trip to Gothenburg a resounding success. The whole organisation was incredible and we were made most welcome by all concerned. We made many new friends and hope to return again. Thanks specifically to Torti, Luca, Miki, Jonas and Johan for their warmth and hospitality and for looking after us. Also thanks to the members of Gatans Lag and The Clichés for support and use of equipment and everyone who travelled from all over Sweden, Denmark and Norway to attend the sold out show. I've included some snaps of the weekend in the PHOTOS section. -------------------------------------------------------- NEW CD AVAILABLE Sales of our new CD DOUBLE TROUBLE have been very encouraging. All initial orders for around the globe have been sent out and we're now on top of subsequent orders. Designed by the fair hand of those fine chaps at King of Kings Tattoo Studio in Holland, they will go quick so please get your order in quick.
We also have yet another design ready for you. The following design was created at the hands of Frankie himself and we will again be offering a limited run in a variety of sizes.

See MERCH page for more details. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- STOKE on TRENT GIG CANCELLED This has become rather depressing. Due to not being able to find gigs for the Friday and Saturday, we regretfully have to cancel the gig for The Norfolk Arms with IMPACT for Sunday July 26th. This is our fourth gig we've cancelled this year and efectively ends our planned jaunt on that weekend. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope that you can all enjoy the Stoke Punk Fest planned for Saturday 25th July.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- HARTLEPOOL GIG CANCELLED Due to funding problems at THE STUDIO in Hartlepool they've put the kybosh on future gigs - including ours for July 25th. If anyone has bought tickets please contact the venue about refunds etc. Thanks to Ste for doing everything he could to make the gig go ahead.....maybe another time? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SCOTLAND GIG CANCELLED Despite all our efforts and the kind assistance of Jon from Bakers Dozen and Stewart from On File we have not been able to find a venue in Scotland for Friday 24th July. This is very disapointing, as we understand that the scene is Scotland is in such a poor way that a gig can't even be organised with many months notice. However, we will persevere and hoepfully try for something in 2010. ------------------------------------------- NEW VIDEOS Here are some links to some videos taken by Wattsie at our recent gig at the Duchess of Edinburgh in Welling in Kent. 4TH YOB ALBUM AVAILABLE NOW

Yes ladies and gents, the 4th
SUPERYOB album is finally with us. Nearly 2 years in concept and
construction we finally presented it to the our good friends Oli
and Diana at RANDALE
RECORDS based in the Black Forest area of Southern Germany.
There are 13 songs which encompass the variety of styles of music
which bind the sound of SUPERYOB together - all delivered in our
usual direct and uncompromising fashion. Some people who've heard
it have labelled it a concept album - well, if a personalised
critique of the melting pot of ingredients which has contributed
to and continues to contribute to the fabric of our British society
is a concept then so be it. We're proud of it and hope you will
be too.
The 12 original songs and 1 cover were recorded at SHACK STUDIOS in Essex with the saintly influence of our good friend Grant Matthews at the controls. The tunes were penned by the formidable pairing of Flame/McVicar with Pat assuming the role of Executive Producer. Our customary cover doffs our cap to the work of The Sweet. It is available on CD and also on standard black and coloured vinyl. Thanks to those who helped contribute :- Jim Thompson on fiddle and bazouki. Jeff and Phil McD for backing vocals. Stodge for his work in arranging and demo-ing. Degz for his usual work of genius in translating our ideas into something that looks as good as it does. And of course Grant.... TRACK LIST 1. HERE ARE SOME BITS OF FEEDBACK WE'VE HAD SO FAR ABOUT THE NEW ALBUM SUPERYOB - Quality Street CD (Randale Recs)
REVIEW OF QUALITY STREET/STEEL CAPPED NATION WEBZINE Here's the rating scale*: 1-no good, not worth my time 2-mediocre 3-alright, has potential 4-good stuff 5-excellent, a classic *1/2 points will be used as needed Randale Rec. The newest release from these English Oi! vets and it's definitely one to wake the neighbors with! What amazes me most about this group's music is their ability to tell a story as casually as if you were sitting right beside them in a pub somewhere and still make a storming racket doing it! This one is loosely themed about life in a working class street as the opening track proclaims "this is the story of people's lives on the street where we live/ I won't mince words, you know me I tell it like it is." The proceeding tracks do just that and mix Franky Flames' piano & keyboard sounds with acoustic and overdriven guitars, drums, bass guitar and on the last track titled "public bar" some fiddle, and other instruments unusual to this style. It all leaves me thinking "ah, just right." You get 13 tracks of stories of London pride, bank holidays, guys we all used to know, and Cockney kings...not a dud one really. This is surely some kind of mile stone in this band's career because I have honestly not heard another record quite like this one. Get this one or be left a hobo in the gutters of Quality Street! 5 -SCN www.randale-records.de - myspace.com/superyoblondonuk QUALITY STREET ALBUM REVIEW BY GARRY BUSHELL Superyob's new album showcases all the band's strengths: great hooks, mob choruses and lyrics about working class life and a lost London. Stand-out tracks are 'Champagne Socialist', 'Cockney King' and the anthemic 'London Pride.' 'Toe Rag' is another cracker, an angry tuneful tirade about lowlife parasites who prey on the people, and the album finishes with Frankie on the Joanna for 'Public Bar' a singalong tavern gem that took me right back to the glory days of the Fox & Firkin… magical (Garry Bushell 4.7.08)

AUG 13th - 15th - ENDLESS SUMMER FESTIVAL in GERMANY This beauty has the potenital to be the biggest show we have played since Boston MA in 2004. Courtesy of our good friend Ecke and our many supporters in Germany we've been invited to play one of Europe's premier outdoor punk festivals which has been going since 1996. The list of bands playing is incredible.
-------------------------------- SAT AUG 22nd - SNOOTY FOX in WAKEFIELD, YORKS
Sheffield Dave has done himself proud with this line up, putting us up against the formidable talents of Scots legends Bakers Dozen and the new skins on the block Skinfull. Expect a big turnout so get there early. This will be a blinder. -------------------------------- SAT OCTOBER 24th - SCHRAMBERG, GERMANY
Time for us to return to the home of our record company Randale Records. We've been invited back to Forellenstube in Schramberg on the edge of the beautiful Black Forest area of Germany. Home of Oli and Diana and marvellous beer fuelled venue. We're playing with the fantastic Evil Conduct.

Courtesy of that fine gent Jani, we have been invited back to Finland for the first time since 2003. We will be playing will old muckers The Hoist and new female-fronted outfit The Dead On's. -------------------------------- SAT DEC 12th - ROAD to RUINS FESTIVAL, ROME, ITALY Our big thanks to Luca of the GBOI! crew for hooking us up with this one. Our first ever show in Italy and it's a cracker. A 2-day festival, we will be headlining the Saturday night with the Friday night being headlined by the mighty SPLODGENESSABOUNDS. We will publish more details as we get them, but check out the following website for details of previous festivals.
------------------------------- SAT DEC 19th - CIRCUS TAVERN in PURFLEET, ESSEX Finally got the full lowdown on this and the event is being headlined by the legendary Cockney Rejects. An unmissable Christmas event put on by the Iceni lads.
-------------------------------- Other gigs we're actively working on are some further shows in Germany to help promote the recent Quality Street album. We're also looking to play farther afield in the UK with possible gigs out West - Swindon, Bristol and maybe our forst ever gig in Wales. USA plans have been shelved for this year, but we've had enquiries in from Italy and Austria and will be looking to concentrate on a proper European tour for next year...maybe also taking in France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Czech Republic and wherever else discerning punters with excellent musical taste may invite us to play.
